Swansea are believed to be ready to bolster their options in attack with a move for African forward Lacina Traore, according to Mirror Football.
The Ivory Coast striker has been likened to Tottenham forward Emmanuel Adebayor for his ability to hold up the ball, physicality and eye for the back of the net.
The 21-year-old currently plays for Russian Premier League side Kuban Krasnodar, but is reportedly unsettled in the eastern European country, despite grabbing 15 goals in 32 games.
The African frontman moved to Kuban from Romanian side CFR Cluj for £5 million last summer, but arguably had the most successful spell of his career with his former club.
Traore scored goals in the Champions League for two seasons running, converting against FC Copenhagen, Sparta Prague, FC Basel and Roma.
Arsene Wenger was reported to be keeping an eye on Traore earlier in his career, and Eredivisie champions Ajax are ready to challenge Brendan Rodgers’ men for the prospect’s signature.

A £6 million price tag has been slapped on Traore’s head.
